Police on 'Standard Form'
"This was a genuine mistake and I am writing to you to apologise for the distress this may have caused you."This, I suspect, is an approved standard reply from the police to be used whenever they incorrectly use the Terrorism Act to arrest and detain people.
Obviously the guidelines for the issuing of this particular template requires that the 'cameras present at time of arrest' checklist item is ticked.
